Enrico

• issue update on the wrong WSI of the 3 stations that receiving the BUFR data

  • 3 stations sending BUFR files

  • (Xiaoxia) Decode the BUFR file from Mauritz is correct. Issue should be from ECMWF side, will contact ECMWF colleagues

• FTP protocols

  • download the data every hour

  • run in parallel

  • FTP port is part of the program, small change to the program and load the new program(IP address, username and PWD is needed from the Secretariat)

• FTP or other protocols?

  • MQTT ok, but currently only FTP

  • SFTP ok? YES

  • Mauritz will configure and test. Xiaoxia will follow up with the progress

  • (Enrico) FTPS is good, but SFTP is better. FTP is not good because Amazon bucket doesn’t support FTP.

Enrico & Rodrick

• Rodrick updates:

  • twice a day to check the stations status

  • over 20 stations are online

• (Enrico) With the FTP server, the loggerNet will stay there. Rodric and his team will manage the server. Service on the cloud will be easier to maintain

• antenas update

  • (Enrico) any plan to install them?

  • (Rodrick) plan is in progress, keep the Secretariat updated when antenas installation begins.

• monitor page: how many stations are online

  • (Rodrick) Secretariat to send out the port, and then the configuration will be set to display the station status monitoring

Discussion

• WDQMS maps: dots are in black

• Green dots need to be back

• ECMWF to be contacted to process the BUFR data

• (Hassan) Configuration to be set if frequency changes?

  • (Mauritz) no need, currently, data is sent hourly
