BUFR software

  • Maurtiz says that they are behind with the software producing BUFR and they will let us know by end of week when the software will be ready

  • Next meeting in a week to assess the progress

Offline stations

  • Enrico asked how many stations are offline. Mauritz said that he will produce a list.

  • Enrico, Rodrick and Amos will work on making the stations online

GTS transmission

  • Enrico explained that LoggerNet installed on Amazon cloud will send via ftp BUFR files directly to Pretoria. Christa and Isak don’t see any problem with getting the file and transmitting on GTS

Amazon cloud system

  • Amos asked to know how many companies are working on the Amazon virtual server. Enrico answered that only Campbell and the Secretariat have access and are working on the AWS and S3 bucket.

  • Rodrick and Amos would like to know the system architecture and understand how the system is working. Enrico and Timo will provide a diagram and explain during a technical meeting.
