  • Feedback from Hungary:

    • We originally reported 142 stations in the metno message: two of them (0-348-1-39113, 0-348-1-47200) are under closure.

    • Reported to the regional center and adjust the metadata of the stations in Oscar accordingly.

    • Summary: 140 stations sending Hourly BUFR data, but there are always 1-2 of them
      that don't work or send their data a little later.

    • As of May 12, all data was generated,
      140 * 24 unique messages for a given day, which is a total of 3360.

    • Of the 3360,

      • 14 were: 10-60 minutes late

      • 34 were: > 1hour late

  • On May (2022-05-12 11:00:00 UTC to 2022-05-13 11:00:00 UTC)

    • We had 3 stations that were more than an hour late that day.

    • at least 137 stations were generated every hour within 1 hour.

    • Why 128?

  • WDQMS: Oscar meta database, although I updated the meta data for all our stations
    earlier this year.

  • Naturally not every station measures every element, such as

    • air pressure at 53 locations,

    • temperature at 131 locations,

    • wind speed at 136 locations,

    • precipitation at 129 locations,

    • and so on, but these were set in the Oscar.

 

 

  • In OSCAR, there are 156 stations registered.

    • 34 stations with both primary and secondary WSI

    • 122 stations with only primary WSI

    • 16 stations registered in OSCAR, but not in the list of 142 stations

      • 10 stations: not reported in WDQMS (>=0)

      • 6 stations: reported in WDQMS (=0)

  • Conclusion:

    • in OSCAR, there should be 158 stations (0-348-1-39113, 0-348-1-47200, should be registered) at Hungary

    • in WDQMS, there should be 158 stations too, now there are only 138 stations, where are the 20 stations? (156-138, 18 stations, among 142 stations, )

    • In WDQMS, there are 138 stations reported.

      • Action: Amro to figure out the 10 stations (registered in OSCAR) not reported
