Test specification were shared on

GB missing components (waiting for Steve to PR for 2nd version), Steve PR, will be completing today.

GC: no progress, to be updated by Max soon

GDC: park at the moment due to

GM: no progress from last week. Will update after discussing with Chems.

Test infrastructure update

A set of VMs to be used as WIS2 Nodes, will be deployed for 3 months. Rémy to share the details with Timo to implement the test environment.

(Question: Steve) Two test environment, WIS2 Dev environment is different from Performance Test for Global Services in October. Max will provide the cost of stream down version of the GC on AWS cloud credits to work as one option, which is pending to decide.

• China: 27 September

• France: 30 September

GC:

• Saudi Arabia: 10 October

• Japan: 11 October

(Antje): It is still not confirmed whether DWD will take part in the Performance Test in October. Big issues due to the reorganization in DWD. Action: Rémy to schedule a bilateral meeting with Thorsten to discuss it.

(Rémy) last minute decision will not work.

(Antje) Any Promethus instant in the test environment available for the API to request the metrics?

(Rémy) to be discussed at the later stage. (For the Metrics collection during the test. )

Getting data out of Global Cache: tools not yet to be agreed (Action: Max to provide a proposal for the team to agree on)

(Max) which level of details do we need for the integration into the test VMs?

JMeter:

(Rémy) to define the different scenarios of GC and test them. (Action) Max, Antje and Lei to discuss on the proposals.

Timo’s question:

(Rémy) metrics will be part of the assessing the result. Functional test will be YES or NO. Performance tests, it will be served as the complementary. (Action: Timo to provide the texts to add the predictable scenarios)
