IM guide | @David Berry (DB) | DB described the outstanding issues with the IM guide
Following a discussion of the above issues the team discussed further the definition of data used in the guide. It was felt that the definition as in the cleaned up version was too narrow / specific and that it should be reverted to an earlier version. Action GP: to provide revised wording to DB. Action All: to check last 2 sections, 6.5 and 6.6 as these are the newest and have undergone least scrutiny. | |
| WMO 1238 | @David Berry | DB reported that within the Secretariat they were trying to ensure that submissions to SERCOM and INFCOM went via the correct workflow. DB flagged that one urgent issue was the submission of amendments to WMO-No. 1238 and that his understanding was that it needed to be reviewed by the ET-IM and to then go through SC-IMT to INFCOM. According to Res. 20, EC-73 INFCOM should take the lead on future updates to this manual (e.g. see WMO Document Template).
Action All: To review and return comments on the current draft of WMO 1238 by the 22nd July. |
