Hassan

Hassan drafted the structure of the document: https://wmo-teams.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/ETIM/pages/105218191

This meeting is to validate the document structure

  • Timeline: to provide the document by the end of June, 2021

  • Enrico

    • Too many items: Introduction include: About information management, purpose and scope, intended audience, which can be reorganized under Introduction

    • Principles is more about Philosophy perspective and life cycle is more of method

    • More prone to include Standards and Best Practices into either IM Principles or Information life cycle??

  • Hassan

    • Take all activities into account, not just climate or specific areas.

    • Or do we need a small document?

  • Peng

    • agree: Sub-groups reorganization

  • Axel

    • This document should be very basic

    • Types of information: should be generic

    • Choose either IM principles or Information life cycle is good

    • Are there any documents for climate data management (WMO Secretariat will share the relevant docuements with the team)
