A demonstrator project workshop will take place in September and the report from the workshop will be used as the basis for the INFCOM-2 document.

With the new way of exchanging data and the growing number of higher frequency data, we need to consider retiring the practice of having several subsets (for different stations) in the same BUFR message. In some projects, we are already adopting an approach of having different files for each station and observation (still one BUFR per file).
