The aim of this page is to document the issues with the Southern African Development Community(SADC) is installing 40 Automatic Automatic Weather Stations (AWSs) data exchange and their resolutions.
SADC, established in 1992, is a Regional Economic Community comprising 16 Member States: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
SADC is now installing 40 AWSs and has problems in exchanging data on GTS.
